Children's Grief Awareness Day on Maui

Children's Grief Awareness Day is designed to help us all become more aware of the needs of grieving children — and of the benefits they obtain through the support of others. Children's Grief Awareness Day is an opportunity to make sure that grieving children receive the support they need. It is an annual event held nationwide across the United States.

Na Keiki O Emalia is coordinating a day of Maui-based awareness activities on November 16, 2017 and we invite you to participate.

Here's how you can be involved:

** RSVP to our Facebook event, and invite your friends

** "Like" Nā Keiki O Emalia on Facebook, and invite your friends to do the same

** On November 16th, visit one of over 50 participating retail locations around Maui and drop off a donation in one of our custom "ballot boxes" - every little bit counts! (Boxes will ONLY be displayed on November 16th - see complete list of locations below.)

** Donate to 

** Participate in a one-day Facebook Fundraiser on November 16th, or set up a one-day fundraiser of your own, at, naming Nā Keiki O Emalia as the beneficiary

** Visit us at the Makawao Farmers Market on Thursday, November 16th, from 10:00am until 4:00pm

** Post on social media to spread the word in support of helping heal children who are grieving, and use hashtag #CGADHOPE and#ChildrenGrieve when you do!
